मानसिक क्षमता चाचणी – घटकनिहाय माहिती नवोदय प्रवेश परीक्षा (JNVST) मधील मानसिक क्षमता चाचणी (Mental Ability Test - MAT) हा सर्वात महत्त्वाचा आणि गुण मिळवण्यासाठी सोपा भाग असतो – कारण तो तर्कशक्ती, निरीक्षण, आणि विश्लेषण क्षमता तपासतो. मानसिक क्षमता चाचणी – घटकनिहाय माहिती मानसिक क्षमता चाचणी ही सामान्यतः 40 प्रश्नांची असते (100 गुणांपैकी सुमारे 50% गुण) आणि खालीलप्रमाणे विभागली जाते: 1. चित्र पूर्ण करा (Figure Completion) अर्धवट चित्र दिलं जातं – त्यात योग्य तुकडा कोणता हे ओळखायचं. दृश्य निरीक्षण आणि आकार समजून घेण्याची क्षमता तपासते. 2. पॅटर्न ओळखा (Figure Series / Pattern Recognition) एक क्रम दिला जातो, शेवटचं चित्र कोणतं येईल हे शोधायचं. श्रृंखला व अ‍ॅनालॉजी समजणं आवश्यक. 3. मिरर / वॉटर इमेज दिलेल्या आकृतीचं आरसा प्रतिबिंब किंवा पाण्यातील प्रतिबिंब ओळखावं लागतं. परीक्षेत 1-2 प्रश्न निश्चित येतात. 4. संख्या श्रृंखला (Number Series) आकड्यांची मालिका दिली जाते – पुढचा संख्या/शेप कसा येईल हे शोधायचं. गणिती आणि तार्किक दोन्ही विचारांची गरज. 5. कोडिंग - डिकोडिंग (Coding & Decoding) शब...
